Todd took his experience creating effective communications, branding and marketing for businesses into the realm of political strategy and messaging. His own two campaigns for the Minnesota State House resulted in unprecedented improvements in vote percentages.

Todd’s experience being a successful small business owner and having keen knowledge of how policy works (or rather, doesn’t work) for small business is one of the main reasons he ran for office.

He ran a program to encourage and assist independent small business owners to testify on issues at the Minnesota State Capitol, be a part of press conferences, write letters and op-eds to news outlets, and whatever helps get the voice of small business heard.

Todd is also a political historian who believes it’s important to remind people of the true back story on the many issues that have most often been skewed by one special interest or another. Peruse the posts on this site to find the true historic back stories on issues we still deal with today.
